Love is a lie

Written by PLS on April 24th, 2009

You’re everything I thought you never were
And nothing like about you could’ve been
But still you lived inside of me
So tell me how is that

You’re the only one I wish I could forget
The only one I loved and not forgive
And though you’ve break my heart
You’re the only one

And though there are times when I hate you
Cause I can’t erase the times that you hurt me
And put tears on my face
And even now I hate you its pains me to say
I know I’ll be there at the end of the day

I don’t wanna be without you babe
I don’t want a broken heart
Don’t wanna to take breath without you babe
I don’t want to play that part
I know that I love you but let me just say
I don’t wanna love you in no kinder way, no no
I don’t want a broken heart
I don’t want to play the broken-hearted girl
No broken-hearted girl
I’m no broken-hearted girl

There’s something that I feel I need to say
But up ’til now I’ve always been afraid
That you would never come around
And still I wanna put this out
You say you got the most respect for me
But sometimes I feel your not deserving of me
And still you’re in my heart
But you’re the only one

And yes there are times when I hate you
But I don’t complain
Cause I’ve been afraid that you would walk away
Oh but now I don’t hate you I’m happy to say
That I will be there at the end of the day

I don’t wanna be without you babe
I don’t want a broken heart
Don’t wanna to take breath without you baby
I don’t want to play that part
I know that I love you but let me just say
I don’t wanna love you in no kinder way, no no
I don’t want a broken heart
I don’t want to play the broken-hearted girl
No, no, no broken-hearted girl

Now I’m at a place I thought I’d never be, ooh
I’m living in a world that’s all about you and me, mmm yeah
I ain’t got to be afraid, my broken heart is free
To spread my wings and fly away, away with you,
Yeah yeah yeah, oh ohh…

I don’t wanna be without my baby
I don’t want a broken heart
Don’t wanna to take breath without my baby
I don’t want to play that part
I know that I love you but let me just say
I don’t wanna love you in no kinder way, no no
I don’t want a broken heart
I don’t want to play the broken-hearted girl
No, no, no broken-hearted girl
Broken-hearted girl, no, no
No broken-hearted girl
No broken-hearted girl

How Do I Know If Its Love

Written by PLS on June 23rd, 2008

Thats really a tough question. There is a difference between love, lust, infatuation, or just a simple friendship. Everyone is looking for the person of their dreams. It isn’t that easy to find them.

Let’s start with the first meeting. Sometimes we are attracted to people simply by the way they look. As a society we are hooked on the outside appearance of people we meet. If you are looking for a mate based on that you are making a big mistake. Say you date someone because they are nice looking and are very popular but on your date they have nothing in common with you. They can’t hold a conversation with you because things you like bore them and the same for you. Could you spend the rest of your days living with someone like that. I think not. Don’t be taken in by a lot of flattering words more times than not they are just that words. A balance of intellectual and physical attraction is a good sign.

Do you feel comfortable with the person or do they force you to do things you don’t like. Can you say no and still be respected for your choice. Are you willing to wait and make your commitment real. That means sometimes waiting for the other person to become as serious as you are. Patience is an important key to long and successful relationship.

Do you support each other anticipating and meeting each others needs? For example: If they have other commitments to take care of before you get married are you willing to wait patiently? Are you willing to help them accomplish all their goals and stand beside them no matter what?

Most important are you each others best friend? Do you laugh and enjoy each others company, friends, family, and work or do you expect them to spend every waking moment with you? Important questions to ask yourself before making a long term commitment.

Loving another person involves self-sacrifice and compromise. If you are attracted to someone for whom you are unwilling to be patient and to share all parts of your life, you may have a lot of work to do or disappointment to deal with after the wedding. Take time now to assess your relationship with these and other factors to see if you can make a life that could last fifty years or more with the person of your dreams. Because when you wake up, your mate will still be there.
