Recipe For A Happy Marriage

Written by PLS on November 28th, 2008

Take a couple of whole months, clean them thoroughly of all Bitterness, Rumours, Hate and Jealousy; in other words, make them as fresh and as clean as possible. Now cut each month into 28, 30 or 31 different parts…
But don’t make up the whole batch at once..
Instead prepare it One Day at a Time.
Mix well each day:

One part of Faith,
One of Patience,
One of Courage,
One of Work,
Add one part each of:
Hope,
Faithfulness,
Generosity
Kindness;
Blend with:

One part Prayer,
One part Meditation
Good Deeds.
Season the whole with:

a dash of Good Spirit,
a sprinkle of Fun,
a pinch of Play
a cupful of Good Humor.

Pour all of this into a Vessel Of Love,
Cook thoroughly over Radiant Joy
Garnish with Smiles
serve with Quietness, Unselfishness and Cheerfulness

And you are bound to have a Happy Life.

I promise to give you the best of myself
and to ask of you no more than you can give.

I promise to respect you as your own person
and to realize that your interests, desires and needs
are no less important than my own.

I promise to share with you my time and my attention
and to bring joy, strength and imagination to our relationship.

I promise to keep myself open to you,
to let you see through the window of my world
into my innermost fears and feelings, secrets and dreams.

I promise to grow along with you,
to be willing to face changes in order to keep
our relationship alive and exciting.

I promise to love you in good times and bad,
with all I have to give and all I feel inside
in the only way I know how,
completely and forever.

Woman

A woman is the calm of a hurricane’s eye
where a man finds tranquility
as the storm passes by

A woman is the softness inside the shell
when the shell is bombarded
by man’s creation of hell

A woman is the pillar of a temple foundation
where a man comes and goes
with renewed inspirations

A woman is the cloud that carries the rain
giving life to man’s soul
parched from anxieties and pain

A woman is the bank of the river flows
helping man’s direction
by being the woman she knows

A woman is the sound of a Lark’s song in the morning
when mist covers life
and man feels forlorn

A woman is the emotions
shared with a man
the climax of giving
by the touch of a hand

A woman is the flesh that holds the seed
the miracle of birth
fulfilling human need

A woman is the mother of a new generation
a man is the direction
of that aspiration

Look

The beauty of a woman,
isn’t in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,
or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman,
must be seen from in her eyes,
Because that’s the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman,
isn’t in a facial mole,
but true beauty in a woman,
is reflected by her soul.

It’s the caring that she cares to give,
the passion that she shows,
And the beauty of a woman,
with passing years, only grows.

I Love You Enough To Fight For You

I love you enough to fight for you,

compromise for you, and

Sacrifice myself for you if need be.

Enough to miss you incredibly when we’re apart,

no matter what the length of time it’s

for and regardless of the distance.

Enough to believe in our relationship,

to stand by it through the worst of times,

to have faith in our strength as a couple,

and to never give up on us.

Enough to spend the rest of my life,

be there for you when you need or want me,

and never, ever want to leave you or live without you.

I love you this much.

Good evening sweetheart

What a great opportunity to see you again

You still look as beautiful as the first time we met

Did life treat you right as you deserve

Did your sweet dreams became true

Did you miss me as much as I miss you

Did I cross your mind once

I still remember the rides we had together

And I shed tears when I look at the empty seat

Where you used to sit

I missed your kisses and your gentle touch

I missed the soft hand going thru my hair

And the lovely green eyes

With that charming sharp look

Which used to take me deep into the ocean of romance

I’m sorry sweetheart

Sorry for all the promises I made

But couldn’t keep

Sometimes life and destiny

Stand against our will

(sigh)

If you want to know something about me

I stand still where you left

Torn between real life and our sweet memories

I only want to say one thing before you go

I still have that special place for you in my heart

A touch of skin soft and slippery,
With the hint of hint of sweat.
We fought our resistance beneath the cool sheets,
As the wind flowed from the window above us.
Eyes met briefly and begged for the chance,
To abandon all of our uncertainties.
You began your work on my lips,
Probing gently as if drawing sex,
From a deep well of longing and need.
Then heated tongues met in the midst,
Of hot and quickening breath.
And greedily we drank the wine of our lusts.
Then intoxicated with those spirits,
Our clothes found resting place on the floor.
Piece by piece,
Until there were no hiding places,
For the two glistening and wanting bodies.
Hunger revealed in this hot moment.
Then skin meshed with skin,
As the floor became the stage.
You moved atop of me easily,
And lowered yourself gently.
Kissing me as I was filled with you.
As a gasp broke the kiss,
Your hands stroked the stray strands,
Away from my forehead, then became entangled.
Our slow rhythm gave way,
To urgent and demanding thrusts of passion,
As I arched my body for your comfort,
And you threw me into ecstasy,
With the strength of your blows.
You left me screaming and soaked,

The Man Of My Dreams

last night i had a dream
i met someone amazing
every word, every step
every tough was perfect

he took me places i have never seen
he took me everywhere
the man of my dreams

as perfect a man
as perfect a life
we ended up married
i became his wife

then all of a sudden
it happened so fast
i was awake
and he was gone in a flash

the perfect man
who once treated me like a queen
was just a fantasy
the man of my dreams

Love At First Sight

Though for me it was love at first sight.
When she found out I was a poet,
She asked, “what kind do you write?”

My reciting seemed to delight her
“Love poems, mostly,” I told her
While we walked alone in the park
Love’s fever became even warmer
As two shadows embraced in the dark

I’ll always remember when first we met
I whispered a poem in her ear.
Ever since then how happy I’ve been
And other women I’ve no need to be near.

They say that poets are divine
Though my wife would argue, that’s not true!
For, whenever I lose my direction,
It’s she who tells me what to do.

Soft Seduction

I sit at the silent
banquet table
and peer out
into the open
darkness
at your distant
walls
Across the screech
of night birds
beyond the still
trees
rises you citadel
surrounded by sleep
While I walk
the invisible
corridors
of your heart
searching
for a passageway
to slip
by the guards
Poetry!
A key turns
slowly
in the lock

But I will not steal
into your bedchamber
and take you
I will leave
the door open
and see if it is locked
tomorrow
I will dream
of your ankles
in red shoes
and the corner
of your lips
when you
smile
and the distant
look
in your eyes
when I touch
nerves
you wished
severed
but are not
What will you dream
in your citadel
knowing a foreign army
is camped
outside your walls
I will build bookshelves
not hollow
horses
I will befriend
your dogs
and read your books
