with the sound of your sweet voice from a phone call.
It’s second best to actually embracing you in my arms,

to the overwhelming smile I see in the morning,

after having spent another wonderful night with you.

always make me smile and hold the phone tighter,
second best to looking into your eyes with those words,
and being able to deeply kiss you afterwards,
sending a chilling warmth throughout our bodies.
But with you… you are my #1.
The closest person in the world to me.
With you, there is no second best.
There is no one close to even being “second” or “best”.
I hold you, alone, in the most intimate place in my heart.
It’s a place where I can feel you, still close, when you’re far away.
Where I can close my eyes, and hear your voice,
listen to your laugh, and feel your “I Love You”s.

As always, we are looking and hoping for the perfect man. Even online, we are still keeping hope alive.

The Perfect Man…will not call you at the house early in the morning, because he knows you are always running late. But when you get to work and turn your computer on, the first message is from the perfect man: “Good morning Sweetie. I will have you in my thoughts today.”

You’re having a rough day, but thank God it is time to go to lunch! A chance to re-group…when you return to work, there is a bouquet of 18 roses. Each one is a different vibrant color that energized the remainder of your day. Only the perfect man could sense you needed this!

The day is over; you’re rushing around to get an additional 8 hours of unpaid work done in 4 hours! Single motherhood…if it wasn’t for the unconditional love you have for your children…? It would be slavery! The grocery store…the mailbox… dinner… homework… housework…laundry…lay out the school clothes…you take a break and sort through the mail. An uncontrollable smile spreads across your face…there’s a greeting card from your perfect man…that simply says: I’m Thinking Of You! There is also a hand painted, red satin bookmark that says: “Knowing You Has Bookmarked A Place In My Heart.” It was all you needed to finish your long, tiring day.

It’s almost over…on your way to take a long relaxing bath, you noticed there is a voice message on your phone. Wearily, you retrieve the message…anticipating an issue you really aren’t in the mood to deal with. The message is from the perfect man. His message? “I know you’ve had a long rough day…once you are settled in for the night, give me a call…I want to be the last voice you hear before you go to sleep…then I will meet you in your dreams…”

Did you ever notice how most men are afraid to show woman how they really feel. Men have been taught by society its not macho to show a woman their sensitive side. Seems as if they show they are sensitive that makes them weak. I for one love a man who can cry and express all his inner feelings. I think its wonderful when a man feels that comfortable that he lets it all out. The perfect man knows his way around the kitchen as well as the garage and isn’t afraid to change a diaper. Hes not afraid to show his wife in front of his friends that shes his everything and would do anything just to see her happy.

Woman are a lot different than men we have no problem showing our true feelings in front of anyone and in any place. Most of us are looking for Mr Perfect unfortunately there isn’t many perfect men out there. We all have flaws but we can search just for the people who are similar to us. The most important thing to me is that a man has to be a good listener, not just pretend hes listening to me and a half hour later i ask him something about what I said and he has no idea. To be able to have an intelligent conversation and spend a lot of time talking. Not just talk but to share his feelings as I share mine.

If we live together he has to be willing to share all the responsibilities. I’m not a maid and if we both work then both should share in cleaning the house and doing the shopping. Its really simple to get along it just requires a bit of patience. Understand woman are more sensitive than men, something that may not bother you could be really upsetting to her. Whatever you do don’t forget important occasions they might not mean much to you but its something a woman will never forget and you will never live it down.
