Is There Really Such A Thing As The Man Of My Dreams
There really is a true man of your dreams out there, but he probably won’t come in the package you always anticipated. Almost every woman in the world envisions a tall, muscular man with great hair as her dream man, but more than likely, the real man of our dreams will look more like Kevin James than George Clooney (no offense, Kevin). Sometimes we let the man of our dreams pass us by because we’re so caught up in the package he’s wrapped up in, instead of the heart inside.
I’m happy to say that I’ve been married to the man of my dreams for almost twenty-eight years. He doesn’t look like anyone I ever imagined myself married to back in the days when I was still composing my dream-man-list, and he certainly isn’t as wealthy as the guy I was “supposed” to marry, but what the hay? Our twenty-eight year record speaks for itself. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. My Micky Rooney looks like Tom Selleck to me.
